It seems I do this sort of thing quite often: I write a journal entry apologising for my lack of presence here and then months go by and I do another. NO MORE OF THAT! I really need to get in order and keep posting new work and getting feedback. I'm terrible with my correspondence. I owe a large bunch of people photos and I've not gotten round to doing it. Gaaaaah….
Anywho, my photography course is going fantastically well. I'm receiving very good marks for the vast majority of my projects. I always feel like I can do better though, I need to try and change this. I find it hard to push myself at times.

Greetings to all who still pay attention.
My apologies for not keeping up with DA, photography has had me swamped. It had been a while since I last used my digital camera atually. But now this has changed. I've just wrapped a shoot which has been in the pipes for a while. I passed it off as a project too so I could kill two stones with one bird, or something to that effect.
How are all of you? There are not many SA DA members uploading? Whats up with that? Maybe I'm watching the wrong people? Olivia is the only one, that I can recall, who has been consistantly good keeping up with her connections. Sooo to Olivia, WELL DONE!!!

A band, baby...

So...
For a while now I've been interested in being in a band, but I've never had any confidence in my voice at all. Eventually I let loose one day while my friend was jamming away on his guitar during a break. I made up lyrics as I went a long and he really enjoyed what I did. Apparently I can sing? So we got together with another mate who plays guitar and he thinks I'm awesome. He said I sound like Kings of Leon, but the only difference is you can hear what I'm saying the entire time…

Its going well here! Vega photography is going well, so well that I'm going to be teaching it next year at vega! I'm also working part time at this gallery in kloof. Really enjoying it! Freelance work is going well too!

That's rad dude, so things are going fantastic by the sounds of things. I haven't been doing any thing photography related for ages now, which is sad but i just don't have the time, work is just too demanding.
JHB is a brutal place if you don't know how to handle it but i have to say life up here is great, it's a rush and the potential to live an exceptional life with everything you desire is ripe for the picking if you prepared to work hard and smart. Durban will always be home but it's too slow for me.
From Feb next year i'm looking at getting an iMac and DSLR and picking up on the photography again.
